Default climate control

for those who only have control for fan speed and temp. in form of dials or slide thing

it could be nice to have the system control this automatic... of course this will require to hack behind the dash... but i think it could be made rather easy to make a kit that would fit most cars

also is it possible to make a calculation of the temp where dew forms on the windows and maybe also include some messurements of the moist in the air to determine when to turn the rear defroster on? this could be expanded with a probe that messures the temp of the glas to determine if a longer "deiceing" run is needed... this could be include a messurement of the outside temp and moist levels...

i got all kinds of crazy ideas... hope they can be of any use

boelle you sound like you need a Fusion Brain. Do a google and you will find some more info about it. Oh and it is capable of being interfaced with one of my systems, but as you said it does require some 'hacking'. We would like to interface such an I/O on our later models. Thanks for the input!

Now for me the cascade control is angle sensitive, no matter how smoothly i can do it, and believe me i have been trying for a while.

I like the 04 LT package climate control numbers and screen would that fit in a 99-02 truck?

If so is there a link for a writeup to do this?

Default climate control

Hello Kev25v6

I am new here and saw you had have the same problem as I do. Sometimes the temp from the climate control only keeps heating my car, and I cant do anything to get it cold again. Only wait and hope it will cool down again.

It looks like the knob for the temp setting doesnt work always, or some temp sensors does not work.

I also noticed that the fan from the radiator does never run when the airco is off also when the temp from the motor is about 110 deg.

Have you found a solution for it what was causing the problem?

thanks in advance

They are good guys, but even the best can have a hiccup now and then. I know they will make it right in the long run for you...

Where can i buy a Climate Control for a Rover 400/45? Itīs an Aftermarket one from Diavia Delphi. But i canīt find an online-shop or something.
I have asked a few dealers, but they did not know anything about it.
